Greenland Guide Index: Describes itself as "the official guide to Greenland" and is a great place to start. Check out the pages on different towns and what they have to offer. You can e-mail the local tourist offices and will get answers to your questions.
What About Greenland?: Lots of links to tourist agencies and local tour operators, but not all of them have been kept up-to-date. In general, a good introduction to Greenland and a lot of fun to browse around.
Greenland Message Board: Have a question about traveling to Greenland? This message board is pretty active and attracts people with lots of diverse interests: sea kayakers, hikers, climbers, generally curious people. Even if you don't know where to begin, you'll get some assistance here. This page is actually a part of the Greenland Guide Index but is worth investigating.

Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK): The Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) operates the Adirondack Loj and Johns Brook Lodge.
Latest Trail Conditions: Go here before you hit the trails. Actually, even if you're not hitting the trails, it's pretty exciting to read about everyone's climbs - I check this one out several times a week.
The Adirondack 46'ers: This is a great site for anyone serious about climbing all 46 High Peaks.

New York-New Jersey Trail Conference: The best resource for hiking in the Hudson Valley and New York City area.
Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC): The best resource for hiking in New Hampshire and the White Mountains.
Great Outdoor Recreation Pages - GORP: This site has a ton of information about everything! I think of it as a good place to start gathering information.

The Svalbard Pages: Check out the Picture Gallery on this site. One look and I realized I have to go someday. This is way at the top of my list.
Nunavut Tourism: It takes a little time to navigate around this site, but it has a lot of information about Nunavut, along with Nunavut .com, which has general information, as well as tourist information, about Nunavut.
Cilicia.com: This site must be pretty new, because a few years ago when I was researching information about Armenia, I found very little. I think the pictures are impressive and the scenes of the Southern Caucasus, Yerevan, and the many monasteries are beautiful. Lake Sevan and the Ararat areas are my favorites.
Upernavik!: I know this is technically more on Greenland, but browse through these photographs and read about this place! It is very remote but sounds breathtaking, especially the settlement of Kullorsuaq, near Melville Bay. I have a feeling someday I won't be able to resist this one - hopefully combining it with a boat ride up to Qeqertarsuaq, on Disko Island, then to Uummannaq, where I could catch a flight onward to Upernavik.

Whitefish, Montana Web Site: Not a bad place to spend a couple of nights when the weather in the park does not cooperate.

DNT - Den Norske Turistforening: Probably the best run hiking organization in the world.
Jotunheimen Page: Someone who obviously loves the park and wants to share his/her passion with others has created this site. It has some good information on it and great links.

Learning Practical Turkish: Check this one out before you go!
Turkish Radios Online: Go to "Listen to Turkish Radios via RealAudio." My current favorite is TGRT FM Istanbul 93.1 FM. Some of the others are good too but the connections are sketchy.
